Konnichi wa soshite kangei subeki ni (hello and welcome to) my humble interpretation of Japanese scenery and the beautiful costumes of the traditional Geishas. In each window of this wall hanging I have endeavored to depict a little of some of the diverse range of grace and talents of these entertainers. Traditionally after the training for the Geisha or Maiko as they are sometimes called is completed they are given a professional name in most cases is the name of a flower.
